                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO
                   PURCHASE THE PROPERTY AND BUILDING AT 1010
                   11TH STREET AND THE VACANT LOT AT THE CORNER
                   OF FAIRVIEW AND 11TH STREET FROM A & E
                   LEASING COMPANY FOR A CONSIDERATION OF TWO
                   HUNDRED THIRTY THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS
                   ($230,000.00), TO BE FUNDED FROM THE TRAFFIC
                   SHOP REPLACEMENT BUILDING FUND IN THE
                   1992-93 CAPITAL BUDGET.

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Department
       of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to purchase the
       property and building (Tax Map No. 146I-B-001 and #146I-B-002) 
and
       the vacant lot at the corner of Fairview and 11th Street (Tax Map 

       #146I-A-011) from A & E Leasing Company for $230,000.00, to be
       funded from the Traffic Shop Replacement Building Fund in the
       1992-93 Capital Budget.
